In the same vain as Kristian Matsson [Tallest Man on Earth] and Justin Townes Earle, Michigan born Adam Laidlaw has captured the sound of mid-west americana. Just simple, warm and “down home”. Like something your weird but cool uncle would seemingly perform in your living room.

This comes off a small EP full of americana that was seemingly recorded on a tape machine called Raccoon. I also highly, highly suggest you watch a recording of his song Flint, MI performed at “The Zoo” in Baltimore. It’s a wonderful song that I watched a half dozen times in a row late last night.
