Motion Sensor Soundtrack - Bottle Rocket

So Greg of the band Motion Sensor Soundtrack asked his followers to play music critic on two versions on a song. One with “The low, etherial, saturated voice” and the other where voice was a “The higher, flaming lips-esque thing” on the voice.

So, here is my two cents… The version I choose was #2. It seemed to fit instrumental going on behind better, I felt the low saturated voice got lost while the higher version seem to set it self apart more. In the original post of this song Greg asked for some feedback in which I replied “After first 5 seconds I was going to say trade the bounce back echo for reverb. But! I take that back with the full band backing it really works great.” So give it a hear, form your own opinion and let Motion Sensor Soundtrack know what you think.

Oh and just as a side note: I love the fact that a band as asked it’s ‘follwers’ and fans their opinion and idealy constructive feedback on aspects of their song.
