Weekends - Peer History [acoustic]
One of my favorite live Baltimore bands and a band with one of those un-Google-able names have released a reworking/reinterpreting of all of their songs recorded over the past 3 years [2009-2012]. Pipped through their 4-track tape recording device with a little help from some friends they’ve manage to take their usual loud rip roaring tracks into a subdued tender version. If you’ve heard the original recording of Peer History on their album Strange Cultures you’ll notice many elements are still present but most are a lot more basic and distinguishable.
You can pick up the tape from Baltimore buds over at Friends Records for a cool $5.
