Tumblr Nation or anyone else who reads this,

I know this is a music tumblr but I’m looking for a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8. I rented this lense for a week and fell in love with it (see flickr). I’m starting to shoot sports a little more and I’m tired of the kit lens that my camera came with and with my shaky hands I need VR bad. If you can help me find one for under a grand or if you can provide a good or equal alternative, I’m all ears.
