Columbia Nights - Stormy Weather

I figured I’d throw my hat in the ring that is “cover friday” with this raw take on a Little Dragon’s “Stormy Weather” [hear original] by DC natives Columbia Nights. I can’t remember how I first stumbled upon this unique sound rooted in balance of soul, r&b, funk, hip hop and electric jazz. When I watched their “intro” video but I went bonkers over the first 30 seconds. Probably due to combination of a hot hazy day that ended in a rainy late night listening session just hitting all the right vibes.
