Dog Bite - Machino Machino

The good thing about having friends who have good taste and who love music is they get excited to share their finds with you. So when I checked twitter this morning to find a tweet from Katie telling me she had something for me that I was gonna love. Well 15 seconds into this I knew it was love upon first listen.

The repetitive groove, the bounce and the shimmering acceso thump that screams of productivity and joy.

This is Phil, he’s from Atlanta, GA and he’s a synth master.  He plays in Washed Out’s backing band and I met him when I interviewed Ernest Greene last year.  Ernest mentioned how he wanted to produce some stuff for Phil’s band called Dog Bite, and it completely slipped my mind to check it out.  Until now.
