PS22 Chorus VIVA LA VIDA by Coldplay

This little buggers who are sixty 5th graders from school PS22 out on Staten Island seriously made my day. There is a small back story to how I stumbled upon these guys. While reading about the Passion Pit video for their new song “The Reeling” over on The FADER it said a childrens chior added backing vocals for the song and The FADER was there to record the action. So which lead me to this video. The PS22 Chorus has sung songs by Tori Amos, Crowded House, Björk,Velvet Underground, Regina Spektor and N.E.R.D./Santogold.

What I love about all this is these kids are so passionate about what they’re doing and teacher seems to do a awesome job keeping these talented interested in music.
